A while ago I saw some interesting shoes that were shaped like a foot with toes and Vibram soles. While FiveFingers http://www.vibramfivefingers.com/ look funny, apparently they are a pretty great idea for improving the strength and flexibility of toe, foot, ankle and calf muscles.
